Flooring Design and Sales Consultant

Are you creative, energetic, self-motivated and detail oriented?  Have an eye for interior design?  Enjoy interacting with customers and making their home-design dreams a reality.  Mainstyle Flooring wants you!  We are actively seeking the right person to join our sales team at our Indianapolis location.
Some of the duties and responsibilities of the position are:

• Engaging with customers who need professional guidance in selecting flooring for their projects.
• Creating and suggesting design ideas for clients.
• Utilizing design tools available to compute material requirements and optimize usage.
• Nurturing existing customer relationships while introducing new customers to the personal benefits of the Mainstyle customer experience.
• Interacting with customers in our showroom, in their home, over the phone, at trades shows and flooring events, etc.
• Developing innovative solutions by staying current with a wide selection of flooring products and home design options.
• Assisting with countertop and bathroom design projects.
• Willingness to work with all types of people to offer excellent customer care and provide exquisite communication throughout the customer experience.  The personal attention that we provide to our customers is what separates us from the bulk of the flooring suppliers in our market.

• A competitive hourly wage base plus unlimited earning potential through an open-ended commission structure and bonus program that pay you more as your sales increase.

• One to two years of prior sales experience would be beneficial (flooring sales is also a plus).
• Ability and desire to work as a team player.  We are a family-owned business and our employees enjoy working together and looking out for each other. 
• Openness to learning and working with specialized computer systems.
• Current valid driver’s license and working vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Education:  High School Diploma.
