Sales and Design Associate
Mainstyle Flooring is seeking a motivated salesperson to join our team. As a Sales and Design Associate, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of flooring products and more to residential and commercial customers. Mainstyle Flooring is a full service flooring store and we also offer bathroom and kitchen remodels.
Your primary duties will include educating customers on the features and benefits of our products, providing product recommendations based on customer needs, and closing sales.

- Greet customers and understand their flooring needs
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the features and benefits of various flooring products
- Provide customers with product recommendations based on their needs and budget
- Close sales and process transactions
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new product releases
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Work collaboratively with our administrative and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets is a plus
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work Saturdays when needed
- Familiarity with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and CRM software

Installers need to have General Liability insurance, Worker’s Compensation insurance or a State of Indiana Waiver Certificate, tools, dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing direct support to the Mainstyle Executive (Co-CEO). Mainstyle has two showrooms in Indianapolis and Plainfield. This position will be primarily based at our Indianapolis showroom. The Executive Assistant will assist with coordinating the day-to-day functions that are part of the executive’s role so that the executive can focus on high-level priorities and strategies for the company.
The ideal candidate is a team player with the ability to multi-task and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- Manage the executive’s business and personal calendar
- Draft, review and send communications on their behalf
- Organize and prepare for client and internal team meetings, including gathering documents and attending to the logistics of meetings
- Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information
- Prioritize emails and respond when necessary
- Coordinate travel arrangements for business and personal trips
- Maintain various records and documents for the company
- Project / Program Management: When needed, manages projects and / or programs through planning, identifying resources, monitoring and communicating project activities and assessing impacts of project decisions
- Routes mail, faxes and other printed matter
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the executive for personal and business matters
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Friendly, upbeat, pleasant demeanor; good at building relationships and possesses a helpful, client support attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities
- A “no task is too small” attitude
- Always a team player, influence and engage with others to contribute to a great work culture
- Prior assistant experience preferred, but not required.
